Dallas Texans Residency Program ‘Sunday School’

10/4/11:
The Dallas Texans Residency Program has had an overwhelming success which has exceeded our expectations.  Due to the great demand of the families and the Residency Program reaching its full capacity, we are initiating the Dallas Texans Residency Program ‘Sunday School’ for boys and girls between the ages of 7 - 10 years old.

The ‘Sunday School’ program will be directed by the same coaching staff as the Dallas Texans Residency Program.  The fundamental coaching techniques taught on a daily basis in our residency program will be introduced in weekly sessions to the younger players.  These challenging and motivating sessions will be delivered to the players in a fun and exciting way. This opportunity will provide an experience that assists the players in developing the self confidence and courage to perform on the pitch in a manner developed by focusing on individual technique that has been applied to small sided games.

Enrollment in this Program requires the minimum of a fall semester commitment. A semester commitment is a vital component to the player’s success.  Registration will be limited.  Players that have registered in the previous semester will receive priority placement for the following semester.  The weekly sessions will provide a progressive curriculum that builds upon the knowledge and achievements from previous sessions.

Dallas Texans' 2012 European Tour

Boys: Italy (San Marino Cup) & Sweden (Gothia Cup)
Girls: Sweden (Gothia Cup) & Denmark (Dana Cup)

The tour is open to any boys born in 1996, 1999 and 2000
and any girls born in 1998

9/27/11:
The Club's goal is to make certain that each and every soccer player reaches his/her full potential.  We believe that to be the best, players need to watch the best, play with and against the best.  For the most part, our players regularly do this by playing in their leagues and tournaments in the United States.

Now we would like to challenge our players to play against the best players in their age group from other parts of the world.  With this in mind, we have created a wonderful program by entering into a partnership with Premier International Tours, the top international soccer tour organizer in North America.  This organization will arrange all of the Dallas Texans' European and South-American trips.  This will not only help our players to further develop, but also to make life-long memories by experiencing other cultures with players from other countries.

Our 2012 European tour is open to all boys born in 1996, 1999 and 2000 and for girls born in 1998 (this opportunity is open to any player born in those age groups).

Partnership to focus on coaching and player development at America’s #1 - ranked youth club

Top US soccer club Dallas Texans have teamed up with Manchester United to offer players the chance of a lifetime – to train with Manchester United at its world class Carrington training centre. The players will be accompanied by Dallas Texans coaches who will share the latest coaching techniques. In addition, coaches from Manchester United will travel to Dallas to help identify players and offer their advice and expertise in the youth team’s coaching sessions.   Brian McClair, Director of the Manchester United Academy said, “This is a great opportunity for the Dallas Texans. We are looking forward to welcoming them to Manchester and putting them through their paces.” Hassan Nazari, Founder and Technical Director of the Dallas Texans, agrees: “Soccer is a growing sport in America, and it is a great honor to learn from the best.  We appreciate Manchester United’s expertise in helping our players develop into not only great soccer players, but great young men and women." Manchester United is considered the most popular professional soccer club in the world, with more than 330 million supporters.  The legendary club has won 17 English Premier League titles, 11 FA Cup trophies and two European Championships. The Dallas Texans are the United States’ #1 ranked youth club.  The 12,000-player club made history in 2008 by winning four national championships and the prestigious Manchester United Premier Cup U.S. finals trophy.
