Dallas Texans “Open the Door” to the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup in 2013

Local youth club, Dallas Texans Soccer Club, along with Dallas Cup Inc. and their sponsor Nike Inc. have confirmed that all the group winners as well as any finalist/runner up, if they from outside the NTSSA area, of the 2012 Dallas Texans’ Fall Festival Boys’ U13, U14, U15 & U16 age groups will have automatic entry into The Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup XXXIV tournament in 2013.
The Texans’ Fall Festival tournament, now in its 16th Year, attracts over 200 boys and girls teams from around the country. This year’s tournament now provides the boys’ teams an opportunity to gain automatic entry into the famed Dr Pepper Dallas Cup in 2013.
Dallas Cup Executive Director Gordon Jago stated that “We are often criticized by local clubs that they are superior to many of the teams that we have invited. The Texans’ Fall Festival tournament will give them the opportunity to prove us wrong.”
Dallas Texans Executive Director, Hassan Nazari, added “The Dallas Cup is the most prestigious international boy’s tournament in the United States, and we are proud to support such a great organization. Every year more teams and players aspire to be part of this significant event.”
The Texans’ Fall Festival always takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving, and this year will be held on November 16-18, 2012.
