Dallas International Girls Cup
April 4-8, 2012 at Ross Stewart
We would like to invite you to visit us during the second Dallas International Girls Cup, April 4-8, 2012 at the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex in Farmers Branch, TX. Parking and entrance are free.
Some facts to illustrate the success of the first edition of this unique event:
- 80+ teams will participate– all teams consist of girls 14-19 years old – almost half are ECNL teams
- Teams from Australia, Canada, the USA, Denmark, Norway and England will enter the competition
- 80+ college coaches will attend to scout players
- The tournament has partnered with Farmers Branch Convention and Visitors Bureau, NIKE, Soccer Corner Soccer Corner, Seven Eleven, Silverleaf, Baylor, Langevin Productions, Action Shooters and S&B Visionary.
I have included below the tournament program:
April 3 - Opening Ceremony at SMU McFarlin Auditorium for all teams and guests - 8:00PM
April 4 - First round tournament games at Ross Stewart Soccer Complex – 7:30PM tournament party for all participants at Ross Stewart (DJ, music, dance and line dancing). We have reserved seating available in the front of the auditorium
April 5 - Continuation of the tournament. Evening Coaches and Team Managers reception at the Holiday Inn Select North Dallas - 8:30PM
April 6 - Continuation of the tournament as well as vendor fair at Ross Stewart Soccer Complex with surprise guest. 3:00PM College game Southern Methodist University vs. Texas Christian University at the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex. Evening visit Dallas Cup semi finals Super Group
April 7 - Continuation of the tournament. 1:00PM College game University of North Texas vs. Texas A&M at Ross Stewart
April 8 Tournament finals from 10:00AM till 2:00PM
During the tournament a vendor fair will be set up at Ross Stewart Soccer Complex with following vendor/exhibitors: Seven Eleven, Silverleaf, Baylor, Langevin Productions, Action Shooters and a food vendor. In addition to this NIKE and Soccer Corner Soccer Corner will have a store on site with the newest DIGC tournament apparel.
