Malcolm Gladwell theorized in his book, Outliers, that in order to master a skill a person needs a minimum of 10,000 hours of practice. In our current training environment, a player training 2 – 3 days per week for about 1.5 hours per session for 10 months a year for 10 years will only get approximately 2,250 hours of training.
How can we get closer to the 10,000 hours?
Here at the Dallas Texans we believe the After-School Soccer program would help our players get nearer to this goal. The program is designed to develop the techniques of each individual player.
